Before you report a problem: back up your data

If you use Roofing Estimate Pro, export a backup before doing anything else -- especially before clearing browser data, changing devices, or reinstalling your browser. See the Privacy Policy for how backups and local storage work.

What to include when a channel is available

Once a real support channel is published, a report will be most useful if it includes:

• Which page or calculator you were using, and what you were trying to do
• The steps that led to the problem, as specifically as you can describe them
• Your browser name and version, and your operating system
• Any error message shown on screen, in your own words or as a screenshot

Do not send confidential customer information -- names, addresses, phone numbers, or financial details belonging to your own customers -- unless it is truly necessary to describe the problem, and never until a verified, secure channel exists.
